Contracting Party

This website and online shop are operated by Klippan Yllefabrik Aktiebolag, company registration number 556017-2065, Järnvägsgatan 21, 264 38 Klippan (“Klippan Yllefabrik”, “we”, “us”). When you make a purchase in the online shop, you enter into a contract with Klippan Yllefabrik Aktiebolag, which is your contracting party and the seller.

About the terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply when you, as a customer, shop in our online store. By placing an order, you accept these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

These terms and conditions apply until further notice. We may update them, and the latest version is always published on this page. The terms and conditions applicable to your purchase are those published at the time you placed your order.

Our online shop is powered by the Shopify platform, which provides the technical e-commerce solution.

Orders and Contracts

To shop with us, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent. A binding contract is formed once we have confirmed your order via an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or correct an order, for example in the event of obvious pricing or typographical errors, in the event of a clearance sale, or if we suspect that the order is being placed for resale purposes. If we amend or cancel a confirmed order, we will contact you using the contact details you have provided.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when making a purchase is correct and complete.

Prices and products

Prices in the online shop are quoted in Euro, inclusive of VAT. Any delivery charges will be added and shown at the checkout before you complete your purchase.

We reserve the right to sell out of stock items and to correct any pricing or typographical errors. We strive to ensure that colours and images represent the products as accurately as possible, but cannot guarantee that your screen will display colours exactly.

Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods listed at checkout. Payment services are provided by our payment providers, and for certain payment methods (e.g. invoice and instalments), the payment provider’s own terms and conditions also apply, which you agree to at checkout.

Returns and the right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act, calculated from the day you received the goods. Full details regarding the right of withdrawal, exceptions and how to make a return can be found in our Returns & Complaints policy.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, simply send us a clear message – e.g. via the withdrawal page on our website, by email, or through our returns service. 

Short version of the returns process within Sweden: 1) Register the return via our returns service. 2) You will receive a QR code/parcel label via email. 3) Pack the item securely in its original packaging. 4) Drop off the parcel at a collection point. We will process the return and issue a refund within 14 days of receiving it.

Complaints

Under the Consumer Sales Act, as a consumer you have the right to make a complaint about a fault in a product for up to three years from the date you received it, provided that you make the complaint within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the fault. A complaint made within two months of discovery is always considered to have been made in good time.

If your complaint is accepted, we will rectify the fault by repair, replacement, a price reduction or cancellation in accordance with the law, and we will cover the delivery costs. The step-by-step procedure is described in our Returns & Complaints policy. Contact us at info@klippanyllefabrik.se.

Dispute resolution

We always strive to resolve any disputes by mutual agreement with you. If we cannot reach an agreement, you as a consumer may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se, for a free and impartial review. We participate in ARN’s reviews and generally follow their recommendations.

For cross-border purchases within the EU, you can also seek guidance from European Consumer Centre (ECC Sweden), www.konsumenteuropa.se.

Disputes may also be heard by a court of law. Swedish law applies to the contract.

Intellectual property rights

All content on the website – text, images, designs, graphics and logos – belongs to Klippan Yllefabrik or our partners and is protected by copyright and other legislation. You may not copy, reproduce, resell or commercially exploit the content without our written permission.

Unauthorised use

You may not use the website for illegal or unauthorised purposes, provide false or misleading information, attempt to circumvent the website’s security, or upload malicious code. We reserve the right to block access in the event of misuse.

Limitation of liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect damages or losses arising in connection with the use of the website or our services, to the extent that such limitation of liability is permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms and conditions limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory consumer protection legislation, such as the Consumer Sales Act and the Distance Contracts Act. In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions and mandatory law, the law shall prevail.

We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions. The latest version is always published on this page and applies from the date of publication. For orders already placed, the terms and conditions published at the time of purchase apply.

Applicable law

Swedish law applies to these terms and conditions and to agreements entered into between you and Klippan Yllefabrik Aktiebolag.
