Production

Step 1: Carding
The fibers of the wool are stretched and parallelized and finally divided into unspun threads, so-called pre-yarn
Step 2: Spinning
The pre-yarn is given twine.

Step 3: Doubling the yarn

The twist is prepared by joining two threads together in parallel.
Step 4: Twisting
The two parallel threads were twisted together to form a yarn.

Step 5: Tangles

Before the yarn can be dyed, it is wound into skeins.

Step 6: Coloring

The yarn skeins are dyed.

Step 7: Coiling

After dyeing, the yarn skeins are rolled back onto spools.

Step 8: Warp

The yarn to be used for the warp of the fabric is set up in a large rack.

The yarn is then distributed evenly over a warp drum and then transferred onto a warp beam.

The warp boom is mounted on the loom and the yarn is threaded by hand through the loom's sole.
There is a lot to prepare before the weaving can start.
In total, we have 35 looms in our weaving mill.

Several blankets and blankets are woven into one piece.

Step 8: French knotting

The characteristic fringes of the plaids are tied in a special machine.

Step 9: Washing

The blankets are washed and bleached.

Step 10: Span frame

The blankets are dried at the same time as they are stretched out and fixed in the tension frame.

When they come out of the span frame, the dimensions of the blankets are ensured.

Step 12: Mowing
The throws and blankets are then brushed to get a soft, lovely feel.
Step 13: Cutting
Lengths of several throws and blankets are cut into individual products.
Step 14: Sewing
Washing instructions and labels are sewn on and edges are hemmed.
Step 15: Screening
The finished products are ironed and polished.

Step 16: Packing

Finally, the finished products are folded and packed for delivery.
